If you're looking for an audiologist, I definitely recommend Audiology Associates of North Jersey. I have been experiencing some difficulty hearing and decided it was time to have my hearing evaluated. I was so impressed with Dr. Debbie Marcus, not only is she is a skilled audiologist, but when I was with her, it felt like being with a friend or close relative I had known forever.  Dr. Marcus took time to explain the evaluation procedure and the results, making me feel comfortable, while also educating me on hearing and hearing loss. While the results revealed that I do have some minor hearing loss, Dr. Marcus did not push me to purchase a hearing aid. Instead, the results where used as a baseline measure, and she provided me with lifestyle recommendations to improve my hearing (facing the speaker when they are talking, being in the same room as the speaker, etc., which helped immediately). Dr. Marcus did give me the opportunity to try some of the hearing aids, so that I could see what the experience is like, which I appreciated. You can really tell she cares about her patients (which I also saw, when an older man came in to have his hearing aid adjusted right before my appointment). I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Debbie Marcus in the years to come for annual hearing evaluations, and the hearing aid I eventually will need. I highly recommend Deborah Orlan-Marcus, M.S., CCC-A.  I needed an audiologist to help with replacing some of my hearing aid equipment and she helped me with great kindness and professionalism.  She also didn't stop there and spent one hour additionally working with the hearing aid company and the retrieved data from my hearing aid to get the right volume setting. My hearing started deteriorating in my late 60s. It became difficult for me to follow conversations, movies and TV. Talking to friends and associates, I learned that hearing loss is quite common with older people but that many people with hearing impairment get bargain hearing aids which they keep in a draw and never use. I realized that proper evaluation and proper tuning of the hearing aids are necessary to maximize the benefit and, I understood why so many of the hearing impaired people Who do not get properly evaluated and do not have tuning to suit their specific needs are not satisfied with performance and therefore do not use the hearing aids they bought. Talking to friends, associates and neighbors I decided to get help from Deborah Marcus. I asked Mrs. Marcus to keep me informed about new developments leading to better hearing aids for me. I am now using the 3rd set recommended by Mrs. Marcus. Mrs. Marcus offered complete help whenever I had problem with no charge for such visits (most of the problems were due to me not following the proper maintenance and cleaning procedures although couple of time retuning was necessary because of further deterioration of my hearing).
